Eroticism can take many forms. With Addison, it includes vivacity and motion.
For the gallery “Addison bench” pictured at left, a small bench before a red wall seemed an appropriate setting for containing her abundant youthful zeal.
However, the wall color is misleading. In art, red often represents emotional fire or anger. But that is not Addison at all! So, if this wall color represents anything, it is Addison’s vigor and alacrity.
For all of Addison’s photo sessions I used studio strobe lights, but for technical rather than artistic reasons. Her galleries were all shot on dreary winter days, and there simply wasn’t enough natural light!

Working with Adrienne, I was reminded that many of the models I work with for Torrid Art do not fit the stereotype of the “model.” Adrienne is smart, educated and does modeling in her spare time.
It’s a pleasure for me to work with a model so young that has so much life experience showing in her eyes. I find that look very erotic.
I just adore “sun” dresses, but for some reason rarely use them in galleries for Torrid Art. Adrienne’s beautiful, blue sun dress is showcased in her “inner warmth” gallery, shown here in her main picture. It was so much fun, and the results so stunning, that sun dresses just might become more frequently seen in the galleries of Torrid Art!

The words “striking,” “elegant” and “graceful,” more often than not, are used to describe tall women, especially in the modeling profession. That trend is broken by AnnaBelle.
She is not only striking, elegant and graceful, but delightfully charming as well.
To highlight her affable personality, the gallery pictured at left, “AnnaBelle kitchen,” uses warm wood cabinetry and soft natural light, a fitting surrounding for her warmth, charm and grace.
AnnaBelle’s other galleries highlight her highly-developed modeling talents and intellect. In each gallery she is striking, elegant, graceful and highly erotic.

Brea’s eyes can warm the coldest heart, or inspire great works of art. They have an intimacy that draws you in and doesn’t let you go - as if we can see right inside her, and she wants us to.
Brea’s photos are intimate and the photo sessions with her are very personal. In her photos, she forms a relationship with the viewer. But, of course, a relationship is a two-way street. Part of the intimacy the viewer shares with Brea is that her eyes seem to see right inside us, right through our most rigid defence. It’s as if she knows what we are feeling and thinking.
Brea’s first photography day with me included a personnel change among my small crew. Therefore, it was a noisy, hectic day for me. But when it came time to photograph a gallery, there was a quiet, focused calm.
Women like Brea can influence events in that way. Good things happen when Brea is in the house.

Ashley J’s first photo session was another one of those days where things just don’t seem to go right. For starters, the location was not quite as advertised. But those days always finish well when working with such an easy-going, fun model as Ashley.
Ashley has a unique, highly erotic look. In addition to her pale skin, blonde hair and green eyes, she is gracefully short. As you can see in her galleries, she can look innocent and nervous, or outgoing and in charge.
For Ashley’s enchanted gallery, left, I used lots of natural light, which makes white fabric brighter than with artificial light. The ethereal effect of the natural light on Ashley’s skin, hair and clothes is enhanced by camera settings: high ISO and shallow depth of focus.

Of all the models over the years, there are two kinds that I particularly like - unknown beginners with very little experience, and models like Heather who, even at a young age, have had long, successful careers.
Heather is the product of experience, talent and intelligence. I let her control posing, with only general rather than specific instructions from me.
Her galleries go beyond erotic. They are flowing, beautiful and natural. Just like her red hair.
For Heather’s “almost bath time” gallery she is bathed in natural light. I have found that natural light makes white garments appear brighter than they do with strobe light. Heather’s white towel seems to glow next to her beautiful skin and natural red hair.

For the most part, I seek out the models you see on Torrid Art. But sometimes, for a variety of reasons, a model contacts and asks to be photographed.
When I saw Miko for the first time, asking if I would be interested in photographing her for Torrid Art, I knew immediately I wanted to get her in front of my camera. In fact, I couldn’t wait!
Miko brings her own light to her galleries. She is warm, energetic and perennially happy.
For Miko’s “continued” gallery, a simple setting next to a table compliments her long, straight hair, pig tails, jeans and sneakers. In this gallery she continues her “day,” which starts with her “fresh start” gallery and concludes with her “happy endings” gallery.
If you are like me, you like to see women wear practical, comfortable shoes; not “fashion” shoes that are too small, or that make women look awkward when they walk. If you are like me, you will love the sneakers Miko wears in her “continued” gallery.

Soleil is an enigma. To have her body and looks at her age is quite remarkable. Couple those things with her many years of modeling experience, and she is truly the MILF with the most.
Perhaps her longevity as a nude model is due in part to her erotic energy, easy going attitude and quiet calm.
Photographing someone with all those special qualities is quite an experience!
Kitchens, at least on TV and in movies, are normally associated with bright light and sunshine. So for “Soleil kitchen” I surrounded Soleil with light, and added a touch of yellow “sunlight” to the background.
